Wolf Creek Greenway

The Wolf Creek Greenway is an important addition to the Roanoke Valley Greenways. It links Stonebridge Park and Goode Park to the William Byrd Schools. Following the Wolf Creek, this greenway will one day extend to the Blue Ridge Parkway, thus completing a strategic piece of the greenway network.

Directions

From Interstate 581:

Take exit 6 (Elm Avenue, Route 24) east for 4 miles past Lake Drive Plaza and Hardy Road. Bear right at the Washington Avenue light, go down the hill and park on the right at Lynn Haven Baptist Church.

From Mill Mountain Discovery Center:

Turn left off J. P. Fishburn Parkway on to Walnut Avenue. Take Walnut Avenue to S. Jefferson Street and turn right. Turn right on Elm Avenue. Continue east on Elm for approximately 4 miles past Lake Drive Plaza and Hardy Road. Bear right at the Washington Avenue light, go down the hill and park on the right at Lynn Haven Baptist Church.

From the Roanoke Valley Convention and Visitor's Bureau:

Start on Shenandoah Avenue NE. Turn right onto Jefferson Avenue. Make another immediate right onto Wells Avenue. Turn right onto Williamson Road. Travel on Williamson Road until reaching the intersection will Elm Avenue, turn left. Continue east on Elm for approximately 4 miles past Lake Drive Plaza and Hardy Road. Bear right at the Washington Avenue light, go down the hill and park on the right at Lynn Haven Baptist Church.
