Tinker Creek Greenway

The Tinker Creek Greenway is a scenic route taking the user along Tinker creek to a point within site of the Roanoke River.

Directions

From Interstate 581:

Take exit 6 (Elm Avenue, Route 24) east for 1 1/2 miles. Park in Fallon Park (on left) or in Greenway parking lot just beyond the railway trestle.

From Mill Mountain Discovery Center:

Turn left off J. P. Fishburn Parkway on to Walnut Avenue. Take Walnut Avenue to S. Jefferson Street and turn right. Turn right on Elm Avenue. Continue east on Elm for approximately 1 1/2 miles. Park in Fallon Park (on left) or in Greenway parking lot just beyond the railway trestle.

From the Roanoke Valley Convention and Visitor's Bureau:

Start on Shenandoah Avenue NE. Turn right onto Jefferson Avenue. Make another immediate right onto Wells Avenue. Turn right onto Williamson Road. Travel on Williamson Road until reaching the intersection will Elm Avenue, turn left. Continue east on Elm for approximately 1 1/2 miles. Park in Fallon Park (on left) or in Greenway parking lot just beyond the railway trestle.
